i just got back from seeing them at Higher Ground. fucking fine show. except they kept breaking the projector (brett blamed the "rickety stage") so Doug would interrupt his soloing to try to fix it. it was a very big deal to him apparently. BTS is the dorkiest band in the world...its awesome.

This is what my buddy Matt said about the Pittsburgh Show.. plus they'd be rocking on something and Doug would stop to change the DVD.... he said it was cool, but it was unneeded...

Sure it was unneeded, but i laughed. they're possibly the indiest band i've ever seen (in the old school DIY sense, not the new school ultra-hip sense), at least for a national band with a big following that's been around for 15 years. and they had a sense of humor about it, too. at one point near the end when the projector kept breaking, Brett apologized for the sloppiness and said "Fall Out Boy would never do such a thing!" it was still a great show, projector issues or not.

This guy I met Joel just posted his photos. Pretty fast I'd say. Sidewalk was fun...rest of the story still unfolds...

Oh yeah...setlist:

liar
made up
goin' against your mind
you were right
will work
sidewalk
else
don't try
time falls
conventional wisdom
bomb
big dipper
fly around
carry the zero
randy

Sorry if this isn't 100%, I'm taking it from a photo of the setlist.

ears are still ringing.

now THAT'S how a band with 3+ guitars puts you in the spin cycle wall of sound. (see previous gripes with BSS shows)
