hello. I've been a lurker for a while, then a forgetter of whatever username I registered as.

I live in boston, music is what keeps me going..but I'm female and a bit shy about going to shows alone...(any shows, not just the Slip)
So..thought i'd say hello, in hopes of meeting some concert buddies...

although i must say that some of my life's most memorable moments have happened when flying solo to shows (slip, lips, ilps, lisp and others) i totally hear you. i don't think i'll ever escpape bawstin. my life seems confined to the shadow of the prudential building. but hey, what can a gal do... move i know, i've tried, i just keep getting sucked back.
ok, long story short, i am a chick in the same city always looking to get to shows with, well, whoever i can find to share an adventure. speaking of which... you will be missing out on a wonderful experience if you do not make it to the brookline tai chi center in washington square off the c line, washington square stop, for the fully celebrated orchestra 8-10 tonight... which gets out just in time for the catching of the boubacar at the murphy's which is a good ten minute walk from the square. so, if you're up for any or all of that, private message (anyone who's going in fact should so we can meet up and such) me with contact info. and a good time will be had by all.

Hi...

I too have been a lurker for awhile, and just now regeistered :) Even though I've been a fan since like '97

I live in boston and am always going to shows.. sometimes i have trouble getting people to drag with me, and i feel you guys on the no wanting to go alone!

What upcoming concerts are you guys in Boston planning on going to?

I am headed to Austin this weekend for ACL but, when I get back I am looking at- the casual fiasco, zox, state radio, vaco, stephen kellogg, and braddigan. Those are all between now and mid-november and i'm most likely going to all of them.

Sooo if any of you guys in Boston want to come along, definitely send me a message!!
