i saw bill frisell monday. he was with brian blade and sam yahel on organ. how lucky am i! it was beautiful. they closed with "what the world---- needs now------- is love------sweet love!" awwww just humming that line puts a smile on yer face doesn't it ?! actually i felt sort of out of it at the show....hot compact room, plastic chairs. i did love the trio action but honestly my absolute favorite times were at the ends of songs when bill took it out..... truly magical. so unbelievable. so precious. little angel wings on his telecaster.
