Is anyone else as excited as I am for Yo la tengo coming to the Avalon Sept 28th? I have never seen them and have no idea what to expect, should i even be excited? I feel that there is a chance they could be a studio band and the live atmosphere sould damage the integrity of some of the stuff they do. Either way i will most certainly be there. Will you?

i've heard they're a pretty awesome live band, never seen them though. i'm sure they will play a lot from the new album, if the music is as good as the title i'm sure it will be grand. by that time i'll be at school in vermont though, goddammit. :(

My girlfriend saw them last year and was very impressed which says alot; she's very hard to impress. I guess they all switch instruments for every song as in they switch between bass, guitar, drums and keys. She dug them alot.
