Hello everyone! I am extremely new to The Slip and from what I have heard of them so far, they have got me pretty excited! So much so that I went on iTunes late last night and spent quite a bit of cash downloading there tunes! So anyway, does anyone know how often (if at all!) The Slip visit the UK? And are they due a visit? Well if anyone can help with this topic, I would be very grateful!
Many thanks!

Joe.

to my knowledge.. I don't know that they've ever played Europe/UK... I think Canada is as close to the UK that they've ever been.. they play Japan....

if you know anything about Bit Torrent, there are usually a couple of live shows over on bt.etree.org... look at the taping/trading section of this website for shows that are on bit torrent... I know the Calvary Baptist Church show I posted is still going.. and that's free... Glad to see that you're getting into the boys...

Hey there. Definitly spread the word in the UK. When there is enough demand or fan base a tour might be more likely. Thanks!
Any news on album release date?
Before the years end.

From TheSlip.com wrote:7.2.06 | NEW STUDIO ALBUM COMING SOON...
The Slip is proud to announce that they are in the final stages of completing their fourth studio album, co-produced by Matthew Ellard (Elliot Smith, Billy Bragg & Wilco, Morphine), with addtional engineering by Drew Malamud (Stars, Metric, The Dears). The album will be out this fall. We swear.

worth the purchase is an understatement, alivelectric is a must have. also take pstehley's suggestion and download the calvary baptist church show, it's a classic.

welcome aboard dude, it'll be neat to start getting a perspective from across the pond.

Hey Joe! Friends from across the water are always welcome. Did you catch any Duo shows over there? I heard the back of Trey's bus was rockin'! :)

I'll still pay the extra for the CD (in case my hard drive crashes...again). When the iPods have good camera attachments, I'll splurge.

Reap and Sow is a great name. Are the iTunes d/l's like MP3s or that Apple format? (AIFF or whatever?)

The other Brighton is Brighton, MA...plenty of Beantown Rockers there.
