MMJ and The Slip

Post: # 10364Post drewry »

this is from jambands.com
"Perhaps foreshadowing future collaborations, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James was spotted dancing front run during the Slip’s afternoon performance. The Slip will support My Morning Jacket on several occasion in the next few months, including an official post show part at the group’s Boston Pops performance."

i was real close for the slip but i didnt see jim james. did see brad admiring from the side of the stage during Jacket's set. it says that the slip will open several shows though, so this means a number other than the pops shows i assume? pretty exciting

MMJ's set was the best of the day i thought, though mmw was sick too

...are like peanut butter and jelly. Somehow they mesh, but have their own style and personality. They are mutually condusive bands who I hope share many roads and stages together. Wish I could jet up for the Pops...glad some of you kids are going to take some pictures and some notes. :)

Work some angles...try to get a pass. They'll usually allow non-flash photography most anywhere with advance notice and professional discretion. Check with BAM road mgmnt (Rubester)...he may be able to help.
