12/28/05 Lupo's at the Strand Providence RI
12/30/05 Southpaw Brooklyn, NY
12/31/05 Pearl Street Ballroom Northampton, MA

I'll likely have to skip the Southpaw show. Apollo Sunshine is a really cool rock group from Western, MA. I'm pretty happy that they will be joining The Slip for these shows. Check thier set out for sure!

sorry i just posted but didint see your post.

Tis true they went left mass in a nice barn. most of them went to berklee, but they all dropped out i believe. They constantly swap instruments and are very gifted musicians. Vocally they are right on key. Great harmonies and if oyur feeling shitty, there is no way that you will be down in the gutter after they hit you up.

Sweet. Small fucking world. I met the guys in Apollo Sunshine 2 or 3 years ago when a few of them shared a place in Alston with one of my best friends from high school. I remember sitting in the living room hearing Jesse banging away on a keyboard in his room working on a song... cool stuff, but I'd have never imagined then I'd see them on the same bill as The Slip. (I also remember the rabbit had free reign of the hallway & bathroom and scared the crap out of me, having been bit by one when I was like 3.... but, I digress.)

Needless to say, yeah, I'll third the statement, they're worth checking out.
