one of the sickest club shows i've ever seen. check this out if you get the chance, especially if you're a big fan of the slip's instrumental side.

saw them last night in Troy, one of th e best shows i've ever seen without a doubt. Do not miss this lineup!

I just saw them at the Paradise on 10/29 and when the first song came on it was awesome. But then it started to get a little boring I thought. Kimock is obviously a sick guitarist, and clearly the band is ridiculous as well. When they stuck to the funk it was awesome, but Kimock has this tendency to write guitar instrumentals that seem like they belong in 1985, not 2005. Some of his shit sounded like that crap Santana was doing in the mid-eighties, just boring guitar instrumentals.
I thought the STeve Kimock and friends shows from Fayetteville were much better.
Give us the Teachings of His Majesty, we don't want no devil philosophy.
