 They pretty much destroyed the place. Another amazing night of music. It seems this tour has been solid all around so far, both shows I have seen so far have blown me away. You might say its a shame these arent getting taped for all to hear.

Ill try and give a few highlights knowing what I know. They played very hard. Two sets, both rocked. Probably the best children of december Ive ever heard, absolutely nailed from start to finish and the finish involved some really insane playing from the drumming Barr.

Brad informed those of us that were a little early for the second set that if your over 30 you should pay for your porn. After even rats I think, Brad mentioned the song would be in the PS2 game "Guitar Hero".

There was a tune with Marc playing the Ukelele and Ive never seen anyone rip up a Ukelele like that. It was quite fuckin awesome for a lack of words. Id love to hear more of that.

Soft warm simple wonder, Else, Life in Disguise, oh yea.. You might say :!:

A+

Hopefully someone has a better set list than I do, Im still trying to put the pieces together. They opened with a new song as well that was solid, cant wait for this album.

So do they actually have a track in the game? I didn't see it in the official list. I'd buy a PS2 and the game just for that ;)

In fact, Donkey Konga could use some The Slip tunes as well !!!!

brad said that 'even rats' is going to be a secret song that you can unlock after beating a few levels. Apparently, marc played it. He probably did pretty well.

That was I hate Love -> instrumental (hot intro) -> Soft Machine. Pretty sick shit. I had something of a setlist, but I intentionally de-prioritized it.

Excellent to see Paul, meet Beth and crew. Even better to see Franklin (this guy lives in Cleves and hunts me down at Slip shows (even unannounced ones) from CA to MY. Go figure.)

What bums me out though is that there's so many people from this board who were there that I didn't meet. Who knew? Come find me next time. You'll know when you see me.

I've been to several shows and unfortuantely have not met anyone from the board yet. That probably has to do with my quiet and reserved nature but the boys rocked and it was great seeing everyone there.
