I saw Marco (w/ Reed Mathis on bass and Andrew Barr on drums) last night in Montreal, and it was a blast. Brad Barr sat in for a few tunes near the end of the (one big) set. (I recorded the show, and the upload is almost done. When it's ready, I'll put a post in the Taping & Trading forum.)

Aloha,
Brad

Add one more date to the list of shows not to be missed: 06/12 at Club Metronome in Burlington with Andrew and Marc.

One of my other favorite bands (besides The Slip) is opening.

Lots of good music going on up here that week too, during Burlington's Discover Jazz Festival.

I'll be going up to Jazzfest for a couple of shows: 6/5 - Vorcza at the Red Square, and 6/6 - Dave Fiuczynski's KIF at Nectars. Wish I could stay for the whole week.

ps: I forgot to mention that the Club Metronome show is 18+ but because of Burlington city ordinances they can't let anyone under 21 in after 11pm.

It's a weird rule, but if you get there early and don't try and sneak any drinks, they'll let you stay all night.

And hey, all the more reason to check out the opener. :)

Burlington show last night was great! Twin Killers w/ a cameo by Jennifer Hartswick, made it even crazier than it usually is (although, still not as crazy as the original, it has to be said...)
