Me too! I would have loved to be there... Cant' wait to hear reports, tapes, photos, semi-incomprehensible late night messages, whatever we can get! Mr. Davis ALWAYS rocks the house...

SMMD rocked. Period.

The room was downstairs at Union Hall in Park Slope. Door was tight: Potential fans didn't come bc the show was sold out so far in advance. All the usual suspects were in attendance. Cleantone made a surprise last minute appearance, so the show was recorded. Setlist forthcoming.

The band and crew were decked out in suits. Nathan looked he had a great time. Brad was very happy, wearing Terminator shades, and uh, a money of his head. Marc had his tone dialed in so he was happy. Andrew provided yet another clinic. Highlights were Poor Boy and the ballads.

Big story of the night was that Torrey's black bag was stolen, and so this is an all-points-bulletin to Brooklyn Slip people to be on the lookout for it. Black backpack. If you find it, remnants of it, or any of its contents, please contact me off-list.

Whew, what a night! This was like having Mr. Davis play in your living room. The room was seriously small yet cozy. They came right out of the gate with three new songs. Being NYC, I was assuming a late start and a late finish, but things got underway at 9 and closed down at midnight. A nice and tidy 2 1/2 hour set. Highlights? The entire night..... :D

I was checking out The Slip's myspace and someone posted:

"thanks for the awesome show with nathan moore last night... hopefully you guys were lying about it being the last..."

Anyone know what is up with this???

Could be "last one ever"

This is the last, last one ever
This is the last one, I swear it

Tastes so good, how dare it
Keep on giving to the end

Yep, that has been confirmed as joking around "Last One Ever" which actually had popped into my mind. I hope my paranoia isn't too contagious... and I'm not even stoned :)

Thanks Tone!

I'm curious if the new tunes are perhaps some of Nathan's newer songs...Cleantone, do you have "In His Own Worlds"?

nathan is always writing... there's some great new ones up on percyboyd.com (i've been digging 'the legend', and 'gotta make it' lately)

i'm kinda surprised, actually, that there aren't more new ones in that setlist...
no complaints though, can't wait to hear it!!!
