Both Slip sets were outstanding, but the Sunday night set on Big Meadow was one of the best sets I've seen from them in years (but not that there have been that many to choose from...mostly just high sierra sets). I didn't keep a setlist, but off the top of my head, Friday's set consisted of a First Panda> Soft Machine, Children of Dec. closer, one "new song" ... shit not much of a report there. Sunday was a Blue Air>Paper Birds opener, an epic Get Me With Fuji, If One of Us Should Fall, Heartbreaker closer .... hmmm, how's that for a shitty report? They sounded very tight and relaxed on Sunday and the jams were great, especially with Skerik on sax.

not too shitty :?

wolof on sunday as well, which along with fuji, were the monsters of the set. Sunday reaffirmed my love for the slip - truly a fantastic set.

will wait for the tapes for the rest of the list.

Davis was on fire this weekend. Lordy. Last night at Du Nord one of their encores was Silly Like a Goose > Dogs on Bikes > Silly Like a Goose

Yeah that Dogs on Bikes was fun, it was more like a jam, don't think they did the whole thing. Davis in Santa Cruz was hot too, though without Marco.

Yes I taped it all (Davis, Slip and Nathan). I didn't get Marco's set... have to sleep sometimes. (even though I have taped at High Sierra while blacked out I didn't do it this year, thankfully :) )

I am sorting through all of this stuff. I have to get the mixes with the board feed included to the artists and then I will be torrenting the audience only stuff... I have been super busy be patient.

Sounds awesome cant wait to check these out....Good things come to those who wait
Thrice you have rescued me from falling grace;
once when I was a beggar and you were the rain on my face,
once when I was crippled and you carried me,
and once when the blindness of others taught me how to see.
