If I only had a passport I would be there right now. Well anyways can not wait to hear the recording
Thrice you have rescued me from falling grace;
once when I was a beggar and you were the rain on my face,
once when I was crippled and you carried me,
and once when the blindness of others taught me how to see.

Yup. Here's a first-pass set list, pieced together from the notes I took during the show and a couple of copies of what I grabbed off the stage at the end of the it:
The Barr Brothers
Thursday, June 3, 2010
Le Divan Orange
Montreal, QC

Beggar In The Morning
Give The Devil Back His Heart
Ooh, Belle
If You Leave Me
Deacon's Son
Happy Snails
The Devil's Harp
Let There Be Horses
Cloud (For Lhasa)
Lord, I Just Can't Keep From Cryin' (Blind Willie Johnson)
England
Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana)
The bar was packed with people, wall-to-wall-y, 'way more than I would have imagined would be there. It was a blast to hear "Happy Snails" and "England", and "Heart-Shaped Box" (which was done isntrumentally, as it is on Brad's solo record) was over 10 minutes long, and had a jam/section in the middle that I thought was a whole other tune (before it came back into HSB). I now need to see more Barr Brothers shows.

Aloha,
Brad

Patrick Watson also made an appearance, providing accompanying vocals on one or two tunes, singing in sync with Brad so well it made me think that Patrick must have sat in on a BB rehearsal or two.

These are the first two videos my friend Joelle produced from the record release show with the help of Brad's sound... Thanks Brad!

The recording conditions were really not the best with the low stage, huge crowd and little to no lighting... I really like how Give the Devil Back His Heart turned out though...

Enjoy!
