I remember SF opened w/Ladies and Gentlemen. Lots of the new songs. I need to listen to the tapes. SMMD also played a tour ending party at our place last night. Lists/tapes coming...

They encored w/ an OUTSTANDING version of the above (originally Sam & Dave, written by Issac Hayes & Dave Porter...played by Booker T&MGs, recorded for Stax in 1965)!!

Both Moe's and CafeduNord also saw the really cool
closing acapella thing, I started calling the "Bible Revival" Quartet, eventhough it's not a bible they're holding, and only Andrew kinda knew what book it was :)
Brad's voice sounds EXCELLENT...really better than ever during this ending part---I was completely blown away by his ability there.

Harry & January's newlywed/Harry's Bday BEAUTIFUL backyard BBQ, lit-UP party was truly EPIC.
sooooooooooooooo, many thanks to you guys for all the hospitality, and hosting such an amazing, super communal get together!

Around 8pm, nearly EVERYONE spontaneously joined in a clucking, cheek popping, beatboxing improv session at the closing of some song---let's just say MANY of us were quite HIGHLY INSPIRED ;) Fantasticly cool, this was.

Just wish I woulda seen the hot-tub & stream.
HOpefully, some of the many pics will surface. What was his name again shooting a lot of photos? He captured probably the most awesome candid band shots of them up on the cabin porch I've EVER seen of ANY band.

A wonderful poster was also done in many colors. :)

So great to see& hang w/ everyone! I believe I'm now almost recovered from another precious, awesome, CRAZY extended SMMD wkend. WOW. Feeling soo lucky,
+++Dana
All the years combine they melt into a dream
A broken angel sings from a guitar...
And when you hear that song come crying like the wind
it seems like all this life was just a dream

Our friends Paul and Meredith did those. The band and some friends were hanging out late the next day so some more disappeared after you & John split but we do probably have some extras... let me see how many there are and if there's interest I could send them to folks who give a donation for the food bank.

Hey, thank you all for sharing the setlists and your amazing experiences.

So, from what I can see, they only played 19th nervous breakdown and exploding pen in L.A?

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to hearing the tapes!! Thank you again ;}
