A great show, not alot of people there but practically everyone there was on the dance floor. ;} I only caught the last two songs of Big Light but what I heard was tight

Thanks for the list! I wouldn't imagine a Tuesday in LA would be a huge crowd for them but I'm glad to see them hitting the highway.

I would have loved to hear The Shouters, Exploding Pen and Hollywould.

I didn't see any tapers, but then again I was in my own little world so there could've been one.

The highlights for me were Sissyfuss, The Shouters, Unprotected Sex, When a Woman, and Nathan's STORY about When a Woman and when it was written...Ha, Ha! We all know it was written in L.A. at a soundcheck in 2005!! =) But hell who am I kidding I LOVED the whole show!!!

Nice! I've always heard Nathan talk about getting his hair cut on a boat before 'when a woman' - what's the story with LA?

At high sierra - he played a few songs in a row that he had written at high sierra's past.

wait, they wrote when a woman at soundcheck in LA 2005? i have video of them playing it during that soundcheck, but i thought it was a finished song.

last night's show was so wonderful. they lit a fire inside of me fo sho. there is almost nothing better.

Yeah, I think they talk about it on the 11/23/05 San Diego tapes, Nathan said they wrote it the night before in LA @ soundcheck...

nathan wrote it after a haircut by a friends girlfriend on the ferry going to or from martha's vineyard (according to an onstage explanation I heard once). I think they arranged it for SMMD during soundcheck in LA a couple years ago.

Yeah, I figured maybe he went on that Martha's Vineyard trip right before the tour in '05. They probably just finished the song in L.A. Anyhow, it's a great song.
