union hall is like the Brooklyn nexus for SMMD. two floors w/outdoor terrace, bookshelves stuffed with leatherbound books, taxidermy, fireplace...you get the idea..perfect atmosphere for smmd's gussied up belles and beaux :wink:
edit: i have never seen a show here, so i dont know what the sound is like at all.

The sound is good there, if not a little loud. It's a small room and for a big band, they tend to run it a bit louder than necessary.
