Fall 2015

Post: # 25564Post johnhk4 »

Hey everyone,

What's the latest? The Barr Brother's website has an awesome B+W picture on there but I haven't really seen any new youtube videos or taped shows or even set lists popping up. Curious about their string of Canadian shows and sad they don't seem to be down in the city any time soon.

There's been some good new music out in the past few weeks, wondering what other bands people have been liking lately. It's not terribly new but I've been stuck on Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Multi-Love, and I am eagerly awaiting the new Radiohead album. Also for whatever reason I finally started listening to the Dead, starting with American Beauty. What really hooked me in was "Attics of my Life".

That's all for now,

They've mostly been playing gigs in Canada, focused on Montreal + Quebec it seems. As a Canadian who only saw The Slip once (2009, NYC, Bowery Ballroom), I selfishly love that TBB play a ton of Canadian gigs.

I've been listening to:

Beirut - No No No
Dawes - All Your Favorite Bands
The Barr Brothers - Alta Falls EP
The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness
A$AP ROCKY - At Long Last ASAP
Action Bronson - Mr. Wonderful

And then lots of stuff from Hayden, Majical Cloudz, Ryan Adams, The Wooden Sky, Andy Shauf, The Weeknd, Young Thug, etc.
