My Grandfather was orphaned when he was very young. For that and other reasons I never learned much about his parents, apart from a few anecdotes and the story of the fire that killed them. I recently found a moldy pile of documents tucked away in the attic, and in it was what looked like a birth certificate (It was actually a no-record certification, whatever that is). The important thing is that it listed my great grandmother's maiden name: Loretta Barr.

Could my love of The Slip be partially genetically determined? If not, then perhaps my support for Bob Barr's candidacy was hereditary
