I would've expected this to be Surprise Me instead of The Slip...in fact I still have a feeling that's what it is, and the Paradise people just typoed. but hey I don't even care really--whether its The Slip or SMMD this is going to be awesome, especially for those of us who won't be making it to New York on New Years Eve.

YES, yes, and yes. I'm SO glad I took a break from watching the VP debate, only not really because I can still hear Sarah Palin saying "Aww, shucks, Joe." But this makes it all better.

Yes its true, The Slip will perform potentially their sole show of the year in the Northeast at one of their favorite venues, Boston's The Paradise. Tickets are on sale now so plan a nice holiday adventure around the trio's show. Our super-friends, the Benevento-Russo Duo will be playing a set also.

Just bought my ticket for Boston: a $20 ticket with $10 worth of "service" charges tacked on by LiveNation. Ouch

Wow, 50% markup. Live Nation are such fucking bastards. kind of sad that I have to deal with them even for Slip shows now.

hopefully tickets can be purchased at the paradise or somewhere (do they sell paradise tickets at the orpheum or something?) without the service charges.
