Nice. If you decide to come up, we'll to host a little celebration for you at the Japhy house. :)

Sounds like Nathan's gonna be in the greater-Burlington area quite a bit! Parima is a great venue to check out, btw, it's a great Thai restaurant. (A bit expensive, but good.)

The Tazza is a cool venue near the old Lupos. Its got a small stage up front with booths that line one wall and tables and chairs set up in the middle. The bar is in the back of the room so it can be a nice quiet setting without the chatter of the bar flies.
i saw Marco, Marc and Androo there in the summer of 2005 (i think) on my birthday eve. Brad also guested for an "Immigrant Song" and "Moderate Threat" if memory serves.
Hope to make it up for one of the Murph shows but Tues/Wed can be tough.

holy crap! three Nathan Moore shows within 4 days and 10 minutes of me. nice.

not quite as weird as Beach House playing at the Monkey House, but close. probably won't make them all (Monday and Tuesday are school nights of course!) but I am excited.

Damn. Looking like a great time! Bear, I'd love to hear your set if it ends up recorded...

Tyler - You like Beach House? Tori, is my good friend from college; I knew she'd be "known" or something, but it's totally bizarre for me to run into their music on NPR, pitchfork, whatever.....How'd you hear them? Whaddya think?

A) Lumpy, something tells me Bear's set will be recorded. Maybe it's the fact that there's always someone taping Talking About Commas.

B) Bear, something tells me you will be going to Murph's both mights. Maybe it's the fact that Dean and I will personally drive to Compton and Shanghai your ass to get you there.

C) I love hometown shows. What could be better than walking home after a Nathan set? Except maybe walking home after a Surprise Me set. A Surprise me set with martinis. In real glasses. Maybe a stop at Haven Bros. on the way home....

If you need guidance...

You can download one of my set's (from New bedford's New Wave cafe) in the "Lyrics/MP3's" section of my website for a taste of what I sound like when playing live as a solo act.

they just got tons of press from all sorts of places last year so I had to check them out to see what the fuss was about. i really like the dreamy hazy psychedelic thing they've got going on. very relaxing and beautiful music. and Victoria has a great voice.

Great article. My ex-girlfriend took that video footage of the Petes Candy Store "Don't Have to Say You're Sorry" after I requested it. Ha!
