Anyone going to see Most Serene Republic over the next few weeks in the NE area? Any thing really good coming up around here? I got 1.5 vacation days to use before the end of the year!

Definitely check out
Matt Murphy's calendar. Almost every night is good. Vibewise is a great local Boston reggae band. The Well are local faves, too. You also got Samba Lolo (Boubacar Diabate) and the Wild Sextet are smokin'.

P.S.: Also the venue and band sites on MySpace are of course a good source of tour information and are updated very often. Harper's, Paradise, etc are all on there now. But lately Jambase has been keeping up with these and may only have a day lag. Once a show is registered on the Net, it gets around fast.
