after working their ass off promoting eisenhower all year, they definitely deserve the rest. sucks because i think fall tours are usually the best.

"sucks because i think fall tours are usually the best"

you got that right :twisted:
Thrice you have rescued me from falling grace;
once when I was a beggar and you were the rain on my face,
once when I was crippled and you carried me,
and once when the blindness of others taught me how to see.

Still have not listened to "Eisenhower" Yet; still in cellophane.
Should I ? Why ?

Prefer Slip Live; Rather see them in the Bar, Club, Theater, Hall, Arena, Field, Amphitheater or Livingroom.

Since they "busted there asses promoting and deserve the rest";
how much rest does one need.

How many albums did they sell?
Is it platinum yet >?

Or did they just make 'enough' dough to take the Fall off
and work on some new material?
Despite fan demand for Live sound.

Is there demand?
There is no Supply.

Not worried about it,
They will come around.

Oooooh. Let's hope this one makes it to Archive.
I wonder if it's with or without Geoff and the gang?

If you do a little searching around, you'll figure out what pub.

i actually just listened to eisenhower in it's entirety front to back again for the first time in a long time and man.... what a trip.... it is, in my opinion, and y'all've gotta know i'm biased.... but, as objectively as i can listen it is a coherent composition that is by terms of quality, care, production, and just plain melodic merit, among the best that have been put out.... not cause i love the songs, cause i do, but because even if i've heard even rats ten gazillion times, if i give the track like, five seconds, there is always something in there that keeps me listening, cause it's just plain good. the flow of the songs one into another is heartbreaking in the most beautiful of ways, like watching a flower unfolding, it has a natural order that seems to be born as you listen. for someone who's seen all those songs scrambled in order and tone and emotion at so many shows my breath still catches between airplane/primitive and the first notes of the cello in suffocation keep.... yes, the cello..... you have to give this a listen. and by the end of paper birds.... well..... i'm sure it takes each to their own place of whatever.... but i haven't had this album ever leave me worse than it found me.

oh..... and after you have your fill blasting it.... do yourself a huge favor and put on a pair of good headphones late one night, close your eyes, and enjoy....

but as i said, i'm kinda biased
