agreed. probably my 2 most favorite Slip songs right there.

i'd also add Mr. Meowskers and Earth Will Dissever, actually hell how about all of Alivelectric.

oh and Lots of Socks! I know that song wasn't really much but it got me every time. never saw it though and it seems to be dead. but if I went to a Slip show and the band opened with that I'd be euphoric (especially if they then went into Soft Machine).

I'll throw in Happy Snails to the mix. It can just be so damn peaceful and serene.

I really miss Driving Backwards.

Hoc No Seh always stood out to me as a particularly beautiful tune too. I listened to that one a lot during some rough times (a death in my family) and somehow it was always comforting.

I can surely recall times when the crowd was just right and the band was 100% when If One Of Us Should Fall would fit this bill...

I also concur with what is said above.

how could i have forgotten The Woods! oh man. between Brad's sitar thing and Andrew's sorta-tribal drumming and Marc's bass sound that only Marc can make...and amidst all this the vocal melody sounds like an old country song. holy crap. one of my favorites. blows my mind every time. especially the one that used be on theslip.com.
