heheh,
cute...

i've tried to turn my kid on to the slip, but no bites yet...
he's 10, which is a ripe age for tunes like even rats. i think i'm just going to load his itunes with 'em... let it grow on him, heheh.

my brother got me at 13 with so dope. then hooked me with a live bonaroo recording of children of december that summer on a trip to maine. i still remember sitting in the back seat with the cd playing, saying to myself, "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"

My 5 year old son has been listening to both the Slip and SMMD for a few years now. Right now he loves 'Even Rats'. 'Before You Were Born', '74', 'Mardi Gras' and 'Yeahy Yeah' are other favorites of his.

cool :)

my son wasn't into listening to music much at all until about a year or so ago, despite the fact that both his parents are musicians and there's music on in our respective houses more often than not... then a friend of his turned him on to They Might Be Giants. that "You're Not the Boss of Me" song (or whatever it's called) really sparked, hmmmm wonder why? heheh...

so dope

Umm... big difference between "so" and "some" in this case, especially since we know how much the gov't likes to watch US citizens....
