Hey everybody. Do any of you remember that song on the old Slip site called "You Were the Worst at Predicting the Rain"? I love that song, but I cant find it anywhere. Does anybody know where I could get it?

hey, thanks for posting those tabs.

i'm officially not that good yet. for some reason, i thought this song would be easy to play. but i will certainly reference this in about a year when i'm at Brad's level.

i got excited the other day when i realized how cool Em and Am sound with a capo on the second fret.

Last time I tried to look into this, using the wayback machine and old links from theslip.com, the site it could be purchased from back in '04 isn't active anymore. It was aliveaudio.net... Anyone know what happened to them or if the downloads were moved somewhere else?

I think Rhapsody still has a bunch of live Slip...

Not much, I joined specifically for their live slip but most of the shows, including 12/31/04 which I STILL don't have are 'unavailable' or something like that.

i know that rhapsody has several slip shows. im not sure what you mean by unavailable. most of the live slip is available to stream but is not available to download.

Well, if you go to Rhapsody and search for the slip, a few live shows will pop up - 11/28/03, 12/30/02, 3/3/04 and 12/17/00 if it is set for "Available Only." However if you "Show all", 12/31/04, 8/29/03, 11/14/02, 10/25/02, 7/7/02, 2/15/98, 11/13/03, 4/4/02, 7/11/02, 2/7/02 and 6/27/00 all show up. Even if you pay for Rhapsody it is impossible to access these shows for streaming or download. Believe me, I've tried.

like a welcome cloudburst

if you are looking for more contemporary versions of this song, though they slay me each and every version i've heard from it's birth in july 03 all the way through narrows and today.... check out the 3.7.7 show and i think it's the 3.21.7 show from the last little jaunt about... the 3.7.7 version blooms from what is a song tease, and both versions are beautiful....

ps. if i'm restating something you guys already covered, if so.... ooops...
