 :D

i was close to posting a related thread, but theres so many rumors floating around about the lineup. but i will say that this is the most appealing line up to me as of yet and if 2/3 of these bands are confirmed, i AM there!

Looks good, I've never been to Bonnaroo, kind of gave up on the mega-festivals after Phish Oswego (where I missed the slip's set because I was stuck in traffic for 12+ hours), Lemonwheel and the Clifford Ball.

High Sierra is my ideal festival at this point. (even considering cops!!!) The only way I would really consider Bonnaroo would be to rent a big-ass RV (I actually own a little 20 footer without a generator) and do it in style but I don't have any money for such an endeavor.

go down to bonnaroo on wednesday and you'll get in that night within a couple hours at the most. i've done this the past three years and it hasn't failed. the only bad part was that the past two years, the vip section has been in front of what stage and you have to walk around the whole thing (rather than walk right into the what stage area from that side). also, last year they blocked off the exit (after the weekend) that you were able to use the first two years so that took A LOT longer than usual.

DAMN!

hey magpie - I believe that the initial lineup isn't announced for a bit longer.

Who knows about the sliP? I'd love it obviously, and I think they love the festival, the promoters really love the band - it's all just a question of whether or not they want to stick to the same old same old.

I vote yes :) Also, how fricking great would it be to get a nathan troubador session going on!?

Instead of being bummed if they aren't on there let us think happy thoughts of dancing to The Slip and SMMD at the fairgrounds this summer... Let's bring the slip back for their 10th year (??? is that right) at High Sierra! It is meant to be!

I did the roo in 04 and if I don't end up goin to Ireland I'll be there. That lineup is difficult to turn down.

If its true of course.
