Yahooooo!!!!

Thanks Percy! This was hands down the finest night of high sierra this past summer. From you to MMJ, to our campsite, to your campsite :)

Where did this recording surface from? I know a few people recorded, but haven't seen any tapes show up.....any chance of a full download?

some think this set may be good enough to sell some day, so it's only streaming for now. they are nervous about how I always want to give everything away, but I can't help it.

It's not a bad idea man - I'd buy it through downloads, or in physical form.....but the truth is, if you folks play more shows, you'll have other beautiful sets of music to sell.

It seems that selling this one might be complicated with High Sierra involved, and that taping was allowed the night of.

Whatever you all want to do - I'm happy just being able to stream it!

I would buy it today, though I know people taped it (it is High Sierra). You also can buy the next day's SMMD show from High Sierra as well as the Slip's set. (both of which I did and highly recommend)

Any way you cut it the late night set was quite a set of music, glad to have it streaming.

this was hands-down one of the tightest sets i've ever seen them do. i've come to LOVE this band, and I pretty much think everything they do is pretty good. but this set was just fucking awesome. not at all the psychedelic maddness of the late-late night camp harry performance, late afternoon set teh following day. this was all class, with a dire straits-y vibe lurking beneath the surface & jim james & co. watching from the shaddows, totally in awe himself. yeah.

I actually like how not tight it is. this show sounds laid back enough to rival those really epic zeppelin shows we used to go to. I would live in california and go a year without slipshows or whatever if I got something like this once in a while. two stars up!

this show is so good. i've listened to it thrice today.

When A Woman and When A Little Boy (is that neil diamond?) are my favorites. as is I Hate Love, Rubber Ball and How Stupid I Am.
