just ran "the slip" through google trends, check out the jump in the fourth quarter of '05, right when guitar hero came out. i guess it's common knowledge but still really interesting for a computer dumb guy like myself. apparently the aussies love even rats.

Yes, Guitar Hero is huge, and getting huger.
Web hits went up over 4x after that release.
Also around the same time as MySpace.
