I found out recently that my server in Florida expirenced a massive flood of packets and was pushing the firewalls in the datacenter to capacity so they pulled the plug on me and charged me money.

It will be down for a bit untill i get some of that cash flowing.

Sorry for the inconvinence, so i guess Oz SlipServer and Myspace Rhapsody it up

when you hit 216, all bets are off!
Hope you can figure it out. Try blocking some IPs.

Should be back up Sunday I hope. If any of you would like to help the cause I will have a donations paypal and if not you can email me about something. Kinda sucks that it seems like it shouldnt be my fault but because I basicly have to manage it, i didnt watch it carefully enough.

That would be really swell.

machines don't *want*, that is what we humans do. Hackers find this amusing. Although I see it as a frustration in one sense, these things make computers and networks stronger. They illustrate system weaknesses that otherwise would take a lot longer to find out. They also remind us that we shouldn't spend all waking hours in front of a computer. :)

Yet another update!

The site is moving to another server so I have been double checking the back ups and testing them so I don't loose any data.

With all the downtime I have been thinking about some new features I perhaps could put into work. If you guys have any suggestions let me know, I enjoy learning new things. Maybe contests to do a mail out of a show or something. send out an unnamed show and see who can guess it....

Get the stream working before you do fancy. Don't add to your plate until you're done with the current meal.

As for future suggestions, how about an upload feature?
