. the only updates we get is from a demi-god taper and he feels bad about droping clues here and there b/c it should the bands job/management. i for one appreciate what c.t. does for us, without him, it would be the blind leading the blind.
Wow, I didn't know that a demi-God crashed on my couch... just kidding. Anway, diesel has some good points- BAM isn't very good at consistant communication with their fans. In fact, if you don't read the boards, its sometimes hard to find out exactly whats going on with all the anticipated releases/projects.

Here's what I know about the record. The main sessions are over and the boys are set up in a loft in Boston doing the vocals/post production with their engineer, who, incidentally, is British. He has also had a hand in the production. It looks like it will be coming out sometime in the early part of the fall, on 216 or not. Some words about it from Brad: "It sounds like AC/DC went to Brazil for a year a made a record.." Sounds good to me.

poor communication from the band+inability to crack other genres+delayed album and live releases+growing prevalence of solo or "life effect" type gigs

My guess is that this is symptomatic of a need for a new manager.

i agree with you cleantone i hate this thread too

ok whoever the dude was with jazz hands, youve got the totally wrong idea
I LOVE THE NEW STUFF! this has nothing to do with old and new things. I also love the nathan things (swometimes) and appreciate him, i just don't like some of his songs. He did, after all, start writing the shouters and then brad finished it. I was jst trying to say something along the lines of "the slip was on a tear and then it kind of died down". it was just the heat of the moment when i said nathan ruined it...

theres no need to give up on this band... you can survive without buttonwood and NYE...theres 11-29-03, 5-1-03, 7-17 and 7-25-03, ALIVELECTRIC, the list goes on... you didnt give up on, hmmm..lets see...radiohead when theyre album was being anticipated, did you? (if you arent into radiohead, just play along please....)

for god sakes never insert that jazz hands picture again it looks like a pre-SNL chris farley
