Could someone tell me what the "must have" slip shows are. Or any place to start would be great or any general reccomendations.

Hey, I am pretty sure that this topic has be discussed on this website. If you do a search you are bound to find one.

as well as i love the stuff from chopin' block in 1997

A great place to sample songs and start it out would be my website

www.theslipstream.org Then when you found some shows you like, you can visit Oz and Slipserver and grab those shows.

Also the rocks off boat tour.. if you go to Phrazz's site Slipbase you can look at shows and pick the ones you think are the best and get them either off of the slip server or Oz... or just ask around... hope this helps and welcome aboard!

8/10/02 will always be one of my favs.

I think the Evolve 2004 set (8.27.04) is particularly enjoyable. The Nellie Jean may be my favorite that I have heard.

For a real good beginners dose, why not grab the Slip Aptos 2004 Compilation?
