im loving a lot of this so far, some has still yet to sink in as is the case for me with most built to spill records. my faves so far are aisle 13, life's a dream, oh yeah & done...

interesting to see some harmonies (seemingly other than doug's multitracked voice) and horns make appearances. did anyone else notice a small amount of digi-noise at around the 4 minute mark in life's a dream? wondering if its on all the cd's.

going to see them on friday in cambridge. stoked...

I'm catching both BTS Toronto shows (last night, which was great, and tonight), with the recording rig along for the ride. :)

looks like friday and saturday are sold out but not sunday. i've never seen them before and probably should get a ticket for sunday.

stupid ticketmaster 7 dollar "convenience fee" i think i'll give in and pay it

edit: AND a $2.60 processing fee! $9.60 to ticketmaster for every ticket bought. ludicrous

That was a really good jambase article. They got a nice review in the recent Rolling Stone as well.

It was interesting because I recognized a couple of the songs and hadn't really listened to the myspace preview. Hindsight I know I heard on a live recording from nyctaper.com and perhaps I have heard the others live as well.

These guys are totally on top of their game, good to see!

Sounds like a nice reference to Kicked it in the Sun in Aisle 13. Nice.

Oh man am I bummed I am missing the BTS shows in San Fran on 10/31, 11/1 at the Fillmore. Already made plans to go town to see Phish for festival 8, our friends have a house 12 miles away...pretty psyched for that actually but totally wish Built To Spill was another weekend. Would love to go to both shows...
