How is Nathan Moore and/or SMMD not at the Newport Folk Fest?
That is the perfect festival for them.
And people wonder why these guys can't get any momentum going. You can't let these kinds of festivals go by without being apart of them. NPR is archiving a ton of music from the weekend. SMMD should be there.
agreed, I was there and it crossed my mind that SMMD would've fit in perfectly with bands like Deer Tick, Low Anthem, Avett Bros, Elvis Perkins...all of whom played great and had huge turnouts.
