Nathan and Brad stuff...

Post: # 21744Post Stankdog211 »

hey folks... probably some stuff you're interested in...

First, is anyone hitting up the Nathan songwriting weeking May 1-3 down in VA?

Second, the new issue of State of Mind has an short article on Brad and a review of You Yeah Smoking Hot. Here's some info:
http://www.stateofmindmusic.com/entry/5 ... inter-'09/

Click on free digital issue to read it.

Also, I know a bunch of you won a signed copy of Brad's album, The Fall Apartment. The label sent us the last box of signed copies recently to do some promo - so we're including a copy if you subscribe or spend $10 in the SoM store. FYI, if that tingles your spicy parts.

And lastly, for JFJO fans... here's a new interview with Brian Haas:

Yeah, I read that SOM article on Brad. It was rather depressing to learn that the band went into the recording for "Eisenhower" considering it to be thier potential swan song.....

I miss the Slip. :(

Yeah, these are hard and frustrating times to be a Slip fan for sure, but you do have to hand it to the guys for honoring their process and muse...

hey lucas - the album is on the way...

And yeah, I had a moment recently that gave me chills listening to the Slip... it had been a while. A little break always puts into perspective how much their music means to me.

Thrice you have rescued me from falling grace;

Another slip album? They can take their time on that. I'd rather see them introduce new songs in their live sets in the meantime. My favorite tunes are pretty much live songs anyways.
