coming from some of those who speak with bam quite often, do they have any firm religious standpoints: specific religion, views, rituals, etc.?

I don't ascribe to any particular religion. I see the different religions of the world as cultural and aesthetic variations on similar themes of devotion, compassion, truth, and the acknowledgement of order in the mystery of the universe.
