i'd like to find those too, 10/8 was a hometown show for me so it'd be nice to find that. i know someone taped the 20th congress set cause it's up on archive, i'll make a post there see what happens.

if i were you i would use 4/4 as bait and try and contact one of these guys about 10/08 http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?sho ... users=true.

i sent emails a couple weeks back trying to work something out and have still not recieved any sort of response which sorta pisses me off.

i believe i already have somethign worked out with brent for the funkbox show. haven't contacted him yet but i did mention to him that i was getting the 4/4 show.

It's kinda analogous to MP3. It should be listenable for sure. If I were there and didn't have it I would want it too.

i thought mini disc's recorded in wav. at least my friend's does. you have to do a tape flip though.

I definitly don't know much about mini disk expessially any recent technology. I'm pretty sure they use something called ATRAC, which is a compression codec algortihm. Thats how you can fit 70-80 minutes on those little disks. If they have made any changes in the last 5 years I probably wouldn't have heard about it.
