with regards to high sierra, i have post-fm recordings...
dunno how post-fm counts as far as legitimacy?

or actually, i know someone who may have done an audience recording. i know he did smmd, not positive of the slip... might be able to track him down if other recordings don't surface...

well.. it's not really.. I basically got almost no participation and a lot of people just don't grasp of what the goal of it is... I'll still probably take the votes and put one together, but lack of enthusiasm has really slowed the process for me.. plus I've been busy as hell.. sorry to be so cynical.. with any luck, my two slip shows this weekend will push me over the edge and force me to finish this up... just filling you in...

I got dis-interested in the process when you ignored my nominations even after I re-pointed them out.

the premise of the comp is to highlight new music, new songs.. not old songs.. that was laid out in the description and I pointed that out. Sorry to dissappoint you...

I have read the whole topic, thank you. FWIW your 'official' list includes many old songs nominated by persons other than myself such as Happy Snails, Love and Tears, Dear Milena, Spice Groove, Wolof, Eube and STTN for example. I'm not trying to pick nits here but it is not exactly a black and white situation.

Anyway I'll stop bitching and vote: (in order of preference)

12/31 All I Saw Was You
12/31 Soft Machine
10/4 Paper Birds
12/7 Airplane/Primitive
6/30 Wolof
9/16 Wine and White Soda
4/15 Eube
9/16 Poor Boy/ Long Way
12/29 Portrait
4/15 Even Rats

hey can you put more files up on megaupload
none of the 2006 shows are really being seeded on btree, plus im in residence right now so all the shows with like 1 or 2 seeds take me months and months to download
any files uploaded would be appreciated
thanks

& am voting now...better late than never:
for Cowboy Up from the Hollyweird/Knitting Factory gig last Nov.
and
the Airplane/Primitive from Hotel Utah 6/?
and
the Blue Moon encore from the Ivy Room, the following night.

Did anything ever get compiled for this? Sorry, you were disheartened PS...lmk if you need any help.
