This is the previously-circulated audience recording by Bradm matrixed with my onstage recording with some eq'ing done. Quite happy with the results!

Source:
Matrix:
60% BradM's Audience Matched Oktava MC-012 (cardioid,-10db) >UA-5>JB3
+ 40% Blane's Onstage AT853rx (sub-cardioid)> Marantz ACM660

Transfer: Sources matrixed using Adobe Audition 1.5. Some eq'ing performed to reduce overloading frequencies
in the matrixing process.

Notes: My onstage recording had a cut in the opening jam. I removed the section before the cut and faded the
onstage source in at about 5:30 of D1, T1. I made the fade-in as smooth as possible, but you can still hear the
sound characteristics change at that point. The vocals are quite low on this recording. This is a combination of
the mix at the venue, and the fact that the onstage recording doesn't pick up a ton of Brad's voice. Still, I think
it's worth it for having the nice, in-your-face recording for the instruments, especially since many of the tunes are
mostly instrumental.

Disc 1:

excellent job Blane, and I glad that it is being shared.

pholks, this copy makes the show much more 'listenable', not that BAM isn't always a treat for your ears, but Blane's on-stage job really adds some nice instrument separation and it elimantes some chatter from the venue - ESPECIALLY THAT ANNOYING CHICK WHO DIDN"T SHUT UP FOR TWO SOLID HOURS STANDING UNDER OUR MICS!!!!!

whew, do I feel better now....

in summary it makes BradM's recording sound that much better.

download it, burn it, and play it loud - the GMWFuji is excellent as well as the STTnothing...

just one thing to add - Brad do be careful with those knives and the baguettes...no more injuries to your fingers please, you scared the be-jeebus out of us...

did everybody get the hint about YACKING under a set of microphones....
