The Aptos Project is ok... No one outside of the Slip community will get it though... It sounds classy, but I would incorporate something to do with December's Children, since it's probably the most well known Slip song by the masses... Either way, I'm super happy someone has decided to get some sor...

I don't know how to torrent... Cleantone, the recording is awesome! While I find the horns to be occasionally distracting from the performance, I still say this show was off the wall. Look out Japan! Just started listening to it, sounds pretty good. The horns are clean, drums and bass seem to be loud enough in the mix... I'm going to give it a full listen and post my thoughts...

I stopped bringing tents to festivals... I usually stay up for 2 or 3 days anyways, so it just becomes a hassle to take it down later on... If I do need to sleep, I usually pass out during the day, in a chair or on a blanket - wookie style... Either that or I sleep in a friend's tent during the day ...

Fair enough, so it begs the question - why flac? I was perfectly happy with shns, then when flacs were introduced it was supposed to be better... Why is flac better than shn?

I'd think you're more of an expert than I am... But I have always thought that each time something is compressed it loses just a tiny bit of it's quality... flac and shn are MUCH better than mp3, but I'm almost positive there is a small amount of loss... if there wasn't, why develop flac if shns wer...

flac's supposed to be a little better than shn... Both are somewhat lossy, but better than, say mp3... Nothing perfect has been developed yet, as far as I know...

Got a link to your lists? My burner is cacked right now, but I'd definately be down for some B&Ps... Especially Slip and Slip-related stuff...

I think this is a great recording. Definately not my favorite Slip show ever, but the recording is super clean, and it offers up a different take on a lot of great Slip songs... True, the vocals on The Zeroes are completely different than anything I've heard Brad do, but that's what's cool about it....
