I think Marco does a weekly thing there, and presumably while the guys are in town, they might as well sit in, right?

The latter, I believe.

A good portion of the crowd was very attentive - and it seemed to fuel the band throughout the night.

Hold On, I'm Comin was absolutely SICK - as was ALL of the new material. Very high energy stuff!!

Allgood Festival

My apologies if this is old information. The Slip performed a late night 45 minute at AllGood Festival. It was pretty interesting because moe. was finishing up their first set (their later second set would be a SuperJam with members of Perpetual Groove, New Monsoon, Grace Potter's Band, Tea Leaf Gre...

Athens, Georgia Promotion!!!

I was in town last week gettin' some posters up and I paid a visit to the local college radio station WUOG. I was told that Eisenhower is in rotation, so they will be very likely to play stuff off of it if it is requested. They played two tracks for me. So, if any of you folks could request somethin...

There are two opening acts, so I doubt The Slip will start before 10:30, and they will prolly play two hours unless the crowd talks the entire time (which tends to happen at Smith's).

The crowd at The Visulite last night was phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought Brad sounded a little nervous at first, but overall it was a pretty good reading and now they are no longer TV rookies. The version was extremely truncated of course (prolly why "Cod" and not "Rats" or "Primitive" as those might have really lost their flavor i...

Conan

Is there already a thread about the first network "Children of December?"

Brad seemed nervous at first - but after watching it a few times, I think they came off pretty well. Particularly Marc.

Anyone else see this?

Unfortunately, I don't have the technology, and no Georgia radio stations run Mountain Stage. I too would be interested in the whole show (excepting Guster perhaps) if someone was able to capture. Hey - I recommend you folks check out the stream from the week before as well. Every act is great in th...
