They played CBS Saturday Morning show here in NYC pretty soon after she left. I hadn't even heard she'd left and was confused as to her whereabouts when I watched what I had DVR'd. You're the man! Thanks for the background story you posted up here too. You're such an essential part of the legacy of this band, it's hard to think there was a time before you and them were so practically synonymous. 400-500 times... well, getting back to covers.. I wonder if the jam on Heart Shaped Box from the Narrows 03 show counts... that's gotta be one of the absolute most searing jams they've ever done

Hey, I was there - and also at the smaller show on the lower east side. I agree, the smaller show was a little more intimate, however, the full horn section was enormous and they really rocked it last night. They sounded really polished, really tight, not loose at all.
