Jeff Malinowski (me) 05/12/2005 @ Staccato - Washington DC

Hey guys, I wanted to give you all plenty of notice for my next gig at Staccato. This will be my last one for a while since I am graduating the next week and will be moving to Brooklyn in the fall. It'll be a fun time for sure with the Bear Mountain Pickers playing after me. I go on round 10 and the...

Jeff Malinowski @ Staccato, Washington, DC

Hey guys. Pardon the shameless self promotion but I just wanted to let everyone who's in the DC area know that I am playing a show this Thursday (2/24) at Staccato Bar and Lounge in Adams Morgan (18th and U). I'm doing a double bill with a great bluegrass band. There will be no cover and should be a...

i've never seeded a BT before but maybe I will give it a try. It definitely needs to be heard though since these are the best quality versions of a lot of these songs. I can't get enough of suffocation keep and lonely boy. These tunes are hard to pull off when they are playing in a noisy club but he...

woohoo! This source sounds sooo much better. I've been listening to the other source quite a bit since I got it and I'm glad I can now replace it with this studio quality one. Thank!

this sounds great. Your onstage mics produce a really interesting sound. It's like a soundboard but more "live" sounding. If a tracklist ever arises for this, I'd love to see it. Thanks for taping/mixing/posting this.

If you've got a quality computer (preferably a mac) then I recommend the ProTools M-Box. I use it with great success and the pre amps in it are great. Two inputs, USB interface and ProTools software for 500 bucks. If you just want to do live recordings, I'd recommend getting a used DAT recorder. The...

yeah definitely put it on the archive if you can, Clinton. I'd love to hear this. So it was two guitars (Brad and Geoff), bass (Timo), and drums (Androo) the whole time or did Timo play sax as well?

I'm grabbing it now. It's in the upload folder for whoever's looking for it. Sounds good Clinton. Andrew sounds huge! Definitely a different sound from a live show than I am used to but its cool. Also, I dig that tunes like Fuji and Decembers are slightly shorter than usual. Though I haven't heard t...
