ISO berkfest 2001

Post: # 24800Post johnhk4 »

this is so ironic for me to post. My very first slip show, of which i have had the mp3 of since the day after i saw the show, 10 years ago now, has gone missing, it was on my ipod but not my iTunes around the time i was doing some iTunes library work and then i made the mistake of syncing the thing without transferring purchases or something. what an exciting story for you all.

anyway, anyone out there have a decent 256 kpbs or higher mp3 version of this show? 8-11-2001, it's a gem!! and highly sentimental to me :-) I have drop box to make things easy too. happy to let you know what i have kicking around as well.

Dug through my archives and found a set of SHNs, Dogs on Bikes included. I probably grabbed this off of Jason Booth's FTP site back in the day:

Very appreciative but Disc 2 seems to only have 1 track. Looks like it should have 4.

Yeah it looks like there should be 3 more tracks, according to both the info file and checksum file. I always tried to pay close attention to ensuring the shows I downloaded were complete before archiving them, but for whatever reason my files are indeed missing the other 3 tracks as well. Sorry y'all.

not too worry, an old external hard drive was recently located and is apparently being sent to me via USPS, should have the whole show on it, albeit in mp3. will be happy to share once it arrives!!

Damn. So far my experience with MEGA hasn't been good. I gave up after two failed uploads. So here it is on Mediafire. Since the fileset MacFly upped was original SHN's I replaced my SHN > WAV > CDR tracks with those. I used my version of the three missing tracks to complete the fileset. Same source, neither with any mastering. So they are seemless. Well, except for the fact that my files had some minor flaws. I picked up a blip of diginoise at least once. Enough jargon...

Thanks Cleantone! Any way you could post FLAC files? BTW I've had pretty good luck with WeTransfer. Also I think you still have my FTP info, or I have a big DropBox too...
